Background
About
After a year of thorough research and reflection, a group of professionals, successfully devised a practical solution to alleviate the challenges associated with traditional contracting.

Recognizing the strength of cooperative principles and structure which provide the core ingredients to develop a win-win formula to address the struggles faced by casual, contractual, and non-regular workers, including issues of intermittent or marginal income and poor quality of life. Simultaneously, it sought to tackle industry-wide issues related to recurring recruitment and training costs and low productivity resulting from traditional service contracting engagements.

As a milestone, on March 1, 2010, the Integrated Workers Service Cooperative was officially registered and established.

A progressive service based cooperative with the advocacy to provide members strong and viable entrepreneurship programs to improve the quality of life of all cooperators.

To uplift the dignity and social economic status of the labor grade workforce, to develop and sustain effective leadership, professional management, and empowered members through strategic business operations and quality training and information programs.
